To celebrate the International Year of the Reef, Reef Check Dominican Republic, Propagas Foundation, Propagas Group and the Dominican Republic Coral Reef Network have organized an exhibition of a series of underwater photographs by José Alejandro Alvarez.
This exhibit will go on for a month in Galerias 360 mall in Santo Domingo. The launch event on September 10th 2018, was used not only to celebrate the International Year of the Reef (IYOR2018) but also to propose the declaration of a National Day of Coral Reefs in the Dominican Republic.
