The Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) (Marine Special Interest Group, Selangor Branch) has been observing World Oceans Day by holding our signature marine awareness and snorkeling training programme with members and island communities.
Considering that the ocean’s health has become a global priority, this year, we are reaching out to the general public in the Klang Valley in an educational, awareness-raising and fun event.
The event is in support of:
- The Selangor state government’s #BebasPlastik and Cintai Pantai Selangor initiatives
- The International Year of the Reef 2018, managed locally by the Department of Marine Parks Malaysia
Location: Boulevard @ Publica, a lifestyle mall in Kuala Lumpur which is well-known for its commitment to social and environmental causes and draws a crowd who appreciates such events.
