The Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation (BREEF) is hosting three five-day summer camps across the Bahamas.
Open from 9am – 3pm, for children aged 8-14 years, the camps are designed to expose Bahamian children to the incredible marine environment through an immersion experience in the ocean, teaching them about the reefs of the Bahamas and how to protect them.
Campers are also taught practical ways to become better stewards of their natural resources.
Daily activities include:
- field trips
- hands-on learning
Children do not need to be good swimmers, but should be comfortable in the water.
